Browse the Find Tutors page, filter by language and price, then open a tutor's profile. Click Book Lesson, pick a date and time, and confirm. You'll need to top up your wallet first via the Wallet page.

You top up your etalki wallet with a single deposit, and individual lessons are deducted from that balance when you book. We never charge your card per-lesson.

Yes — cancellations made at least 24 hours before the lesson are refunded in full to your wallet. Late cancellations may be charged at the tutor's discretion.

If your first lesson with a tutor doesn't go well, contact us within 7 days and we'll review for a refund. You can also leave a rating after every lesson to help other students.

Visit Become a Tutor and create a tutor account. Complete your profile, set your hourly rate, and submit for review. An admin will approve your application — usually within 2 business days.

Tutors keep 85% of every lesson fee. etalki takes a 15% platform commission to cover hosting, payment processing, and customer support.

Earnings appear in your wallet immediately after a lesson is marked complete. You can request a payout anytime from the Wallet page.

Go to the Forgot Password page, enter your email, and we'll send a reset link that expires in 1 hour.

Log in, then open Account Settings to update your name, country, and other profile details. To change your email address itself, contact support.
